purty pictures
Since photography is one of my many obsessions, I decided to share it with you by creating an album of my favourite new photos. This will be updated from time to time whenever I have a particularly good roll developed. These current selections come from a recent trip to our fantastic National Gallery in Ottawa, Canada. February 2002 update -- one of my mother's lovably weird dogs had puppies, and there's simply no force on earth that could keep me from taking pictures of the wretchedly adorable things. Featured in the photos are my older brother and his fiancée, as well as one of the puppies they ultimately adopted. He's about five months old now, and (as you can see) gets into absolutely everything without hesitation or remorse.

Another February update -- These photos also come from warmer days; some from my mother's farmhouse, and others from our kitchen where both flowers and the cat vie for supremacy under the watchful eye of the golden sun. Usually the cat wins.
