I buy her pieces and give them as presents quite often. She is very talented.

I'm momentarily sticking my head above ground (given the silence caused by my work-induced lack of life to blog about) to say that you too can buy some amazing, homemade jewelry (as well as paper goods, crocheted items, original art and photography) from Etsy's Trans-Canada team, and support talented artisans who hand-craft neato thingies and offer them to sale on the innovative Etsy website.

They're having a "spring cleaning" sale right now, to clear the way for new pieces. The sale goes on between February 18-24, 2008, which is this week. My roommate Mel in particular is offering 20% off her normal prices on some very stunning jewelry.
