My favourite American radical cleric, raging homophobe Fred Phelps, has issued through his Church a press release thanking God for the tsunami disaster in southeast Asia because it killed, among other things, some 2000 swedes, some of whom might have been gay. You'll remember Phelps and his fellow models of Christian love from their protest at the funeral of Matthew Shepard, and again from the time that his idiotic children came to Canada to protest our tolerance of homosexuals and had to ask a Mountie for help and instructions burning a Canadian flag (which the polite Mountie dutifully provided, fearing for the safety of idiots playing with fire).
